Neston Methodist Church

Neston Methodist Church is one of three Methodist churches in Neston and District, the other two being in Little Neston and Willaston. The minister Reverend Marcus Torchon also has oversight at both Little Neston and Willaston. In September 2010 Neston and Little Neston churches will join to form the Neston Methodist Partnership Church, with a combined governance and support structure. The church is part of Neston & District Churches Together.

Church services are held at 10:45am on Sunday mornings, with Holy Communion held once per month in conjunction with Little Neston Church. There is also a shoppers service on Friday mornings (Neston market day) at 10:30 am.

Since 1999 the Church has developed as a multi-purpose community centre as well as a place of Worship. Two rooms are available for community use. Tea, coffee and refreshments are provided by The Teapot on Monday and Wednesday mornings, and refreshments and light meals by the Church Drop-in on Friday morning.

The Church building is also home to the Neston Community CyberCentre, where people can drop in to use a suite of computers and obtain assistance from a CyberBuddy. Age UK and Methodist Homes have offices in the building.
